I collect faux chocolate bunnies. I find them at yard sales, thrift stores, etc. A lot are signed and I feel bad that they, as a gift, aren't more appreciated and end up for sale cheap.

This is the story of Panda. I found Panda on Saturday at an antique mall. All the tag said was "1930s Loved Panda." Loved indeed: poor Panda had a hole in its back, one ear was largely detached (hanging on only at the edges), something happened to the original eyes, leaving only these metal discs. Panda's fur was patchy and when I accidentally thumped it with my hand, huge dust clouds came erupting out.
I felt so sad thinking about this dirty, dusty, ratty, ninety year old stuffed panda with nobody to love it, so long story short, it came home with me and I spent the weekend trying to restore it. Lots of baths, I replaced the stuffing (and made a heart with the old fluff and wood shavings), washed the skin, attached new eyes, and sewed up the other holes.
Panda looks a little better now 🙂

Hard to believe. Went to a gw out of my area. Found this “blue” Atlantis Fenton hand painted glass bowl hand signed by Peggy Lane. Wait for it…….$7.99.

Found at the Goodwill in Boise, Idaho. Not 100% sure why this is framed but I loved them. They came home with me.

Trolls!! I've wanted to collect some for as long as I can remember! Then I found a garage sale in Prior Lake, Minnesota. They wanted $20 per tote. And *You Betcha* I took as many as I could fit in my car!! 🤩🤣
I haven't made it through them all yet. There are so many small ones, and earrings, pencil toppers, costumes, ect. I even found hand puppets! But I finally got my Trolls! So happy!! 💖

Saw this in Goodwill and grabbed it as fast as I could! Google lens says it's a 19th century Satyr/Pan/Devil Head mounted on a bird's claw, brass cigar lighter worth between$800-1400. You pour oil into the top of his head, put a wick in his chin, light it up, and you have a perpetual cigar lighter! The stoppers for both holes are gone, but otherwise it's in great shape. It came home for $25, and I repurposed it. 🤣😂

I found this at Goodwill thrift store on my lunch break. I grabbed it so fast, may have cackled out loud and/or hissed "my precious." I It's stamped Fenton on the bottom and it is hand painted.
