Thankful and cheesin’ knowing that my rebrand is officially launching Nov 29th!🤘🏼T-4 days baby!

18 months ago I decided to leave my full time engineering job so I could tackle this dream of mine head-on. I knew where I was, I knew where I wanted to be, and I knew that building the bridge to get there would require my full attention and energy. It was f*cking terrifying.

Thank you to everyone who journeyed with me since day 1, for not only being the best brand designer ever, but also helping me discover Sarmiento Media’s true identity, and lastly my family, the sacrifices have been worth it.

the boys! 🤘🏼🌊 dan spent the morning of his wedding day on the beach with his boys, kicking it back and playing some football. did I almost join in? maybe.

Moments like these are the best and it’s why I love being present for your ENTIRE wedding day. And while I know hair and make up is very critical for the ladies, boys let’s not forget that we can do something to fill in that gap as we gear up for the big moment! 🤟🏼

Wow — time came to a halt adventuring in the woods with Grace and Cole 🪵🌲 I always love adding movement to my shots, even if it’s subtle and gentle, which is exactly what the ambiance felt like in the moment with these two and I wanted that to show in their film 🍃🤍

BUTT it’s not all beautiful and perfect, what’s not shown here are the hundreds of gnats swarming around us as we tried to get these shots 😅 but worth it?? f yeah

“I REALLY wish I could re-do my wedding just so I can have it filmed...”

This is an example message I get from couples who say their #1 wedding day regret was not hiring a videographer... 🤷🏻‍♂️

Why?

Most couples put off hiring a videographer because they think it’s “not necessary” or “we can go without it”.

What they fail to understand is that while their photographer captures snapshots of the experience, the wedding video 𝘪𝘴 the experience. The joy of seeing and HEARING your dad’s speech, or the groom’s tears as he sees his partner come down the aisle, is invaluable and can help you relive your whole day again 10, 20, 30+ years down the road...

Your wedding day is much more than an event. It’s a day filled with countless emotions and memories that you’ll want to look back on for years to come.

Which memories do you want to be able to show your kids of your big day? Will you want to show them grandpa and grandma’s toasts? What about your first dance with your dad?

Each wedding day is unique...but there was just something about Gabrielle and Carlos’s wedding and I couldn’t quite put my finger on it... don’t think I’ve ever laughed harder at a wedding than with these two, a little sneak peak for you guys! 😄🎥🦙

The human face has 43 muscles capable of making 21 unique expressions. All of which can be captured on camera. But what about micro expressions—the kind that last 1/15th to 1/30th of a second? Like the flash of joy on the groom’s face as he sees his partner come down the aisle. Or your parents’ happy tears as they give their speeches at the reception. Photos alone can’t always capture those subtle, memorable emotions. Film can.
