The Man with Four Shadow: GM Hakim

A little bit about GM: GM Hakim is an award-nominated, full-time voice actor who does voice over work in eLearning, audiobooks, animation, and more. GM's happy clients include Meta, Spotify, Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, Macmillan, and Simon & Schuster. He has received two positive reviews in AudioFile Magazine, and was nominated for a 2025 USA One Voice Award for Best Performance in an Audio Drama by a Male.

What GM has to say about this project: “I was immediately drawn to The Man With Four Shadows because I love playing villains. A cocky, confident villain is just so much fun to personify because you provoke such a reaction from the audience. I love the dichotomy between putting out these villainous performances and then acting like my normal self after the show, and seeing how people react.”

Kai-Ko: Ryan Paige

Kai-Ko, the wakaguru (cat-o-lion, as Tim calls him) is a companion of Tim’s throughout his journey. He walks on walls and ceilings due to the little suction cups on his paws.

A little bit about Ryan: Ryan Paige is a full-time voice actor and audio producer. As one-half of Paige Vox Studio, Ryan does the mixing and mastering of all the audio that comes out of their studio.

What Ryan has to say about this project: “It’s rare to encounter real magic in literature, and Tales of the Wandering Mists is really special. My heart is really wrapped up in this project, this story, and what it will mean for people. I can’t wait to put it all together!”

Tim, the child of the rainbow, was born without a music box. Despite his tragic and troubled upbringing, he is the other child of destiny, who will save the Wan World.

A little bit about Leslie: Leslie Grant has been a voice actor for 5 years. She’s played curious kids, sarcastic elves, and even blunt AI computer systems.

What Leslie has to say about this project: “I’m so looking forward to giving a voice to Tim. This book series has amazing fantastical elements, deep lore, and lessons we can all learn as children and adults. I can’t wait to be a part of it!”

Niveus: Jordan Harbin

Niveus is the guardian of the Wan World, an enormous yeti with the ability to create with ice and snow. He protects the other realms by keeping the Wan World covered in a layer of ice to keep trapped what lies within.

A little bit about Jordan: Jordan Harbin has always loved story-telling. His passion for story-telling has led him to develop his childhood imagination into a love for theater and voice acting in the hope that it would reignite imaginations in others.

What Jordan has to say about this project: "When I got the audition from Ryan, I was so excited to have another opportunity to voice a fun, new character that I didn't even care what it was for. I was right! I can't wait to see how all our voices come together for this complete ensemble cast audiobook!"

Jacob, The Great Craftsman: Richard Noble

The Great Craftsman is the ultimate creature of good. Behind the scenes he is playing a furious chess match with The Opponent, trying to save the world (and all the magical beings within) from evil.

A little bit about Richard: Richard Noble, in addition to working from time to time as an actor for ca. 50 years, made an actual living as a rare book librarian at Dartmouth College and Brown University. On his retirement from the latter a few years ago, he and his wife Robyn (herself an actress, as well as their son Phil) returned to the Upper Valley, where they had met in 1980 as fellow members of the children’s theatre touring company of Thetford’s Parish Players. In addition to the PP (way back when, and recently) and Shaker Bridge Theater, he has performed at professional theatres in or near Providence, RI, as well as Boston’s Shakespeare on the Common.

What Richard has to say about this project: “This is the finest quality of writing. A text that lifts itself off the page at first sight—as this one does—feels good, and I'm happy at the prospect of continuing the adventure.”

Inside-Out Man: Tim Powers

The Inside-Out man is a cantankerous hermit with a unique ability in This World: turning himself and things inside-out. He is a key player in Lisa’s journey and (despite himself) risks everything to help.

A little bit about Tim:
Tim Powers is a veteran voice actor and coach, highly sought after for his versatility across nearly every voiceover genre. His portfolio is extensive, featuring work in major video games like Genshin Impact and Final Fantasy, national commercials, medical narrations, and dubbing for shows on Netflix and Dateline NBC. Beyond performance, he also directs and teaches, offering one-on-one coaching sessions for aspiring voice talent.
