Hello, everyone! The BAHS QSA is not meeting this year. We are so grateful for all of the support we've received over the years and are so glad to have been a part of the Boston area homeschooling culture.

❤️As a group, we met regularly on Tuesdays in the Robbins Library from 2013-2018, first as its own entity, then under the umbrella of Mystic LGBTQ+ Youth Support Network.

🧡We started a q***r youth and allies drop in group that Robbins Library is still running.

💛We confronted the homeschooling community on its biases about LGBTQIA+ people.

💚We provided education, support, and a place for discussion to homeschooling LGBTQAI+ youth and allies.

💙We started a yearly drag prom, now taken over by other town organizations.

💜We marched in Youth Pride and Pride.

Thank you again for supporting us! We will make an announcement if/when the group starts meeting again.

The Boston Area Homeschoolers’ Q***r-Straight Alliance provides local homeschoolers the opportunity to interact with like-minded peers in a supportive and inclusive environment. The only space of its kind, the BAHS QSA is more than just a social group for teens: it provides a unique perspective on homeschooling and growing up in Massachusetts, especially as an LGBTQ+ teen.

As the school year begins, programming at Mystic LGBTQ+ Youth Support Network (Q***r Mystic) is also starting up again.

The first meeting of the BAHS QSA is on Tuesday, September 12. Tell a friend, and contact us with any questions you may have!

Youth ages 12-18 are invited to attend the Boston Area Homeschoolers' Q***r-Straight Alliance weekly meeting every Tuesday, from 10 - noon in the Robbins Library 4th floor conference room.

This is a prom alternative for LGBTQIA+ youth ages 12-19, hosted Friday, May 19th from 7-10pm at 20 Westminster Ave, Arlington, MA, hostessed by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence! Admission is free.

Come as yourself, or as someone else! Come dressed up, dressed down, or get dressed here! Come by yourself, or with a date (or several!)
