“I feel like a fraud.”
“I’m not qualified.”
“Who am I to write this?”
If you’ve ever had these thoughts, you’re not alone. Imposter syndrome shows up loudest when you’re stepping into something God’s actually called you to.
Here are 3 grounded truths to help you push past the doubt and write anyway:
✨ 1. Remember Who Called You
You weren’t the one who gave yourself this assignment—God did. You’re writing in obedience, not to prove yourself.
📘 2. Say “No” to Comparison
Your rough draft isn’t meant to look like someone else’s published book. You’re seeing their final work. God is still helping you write yours. Stay focused on your story and your process.
💬 3. Write for Others’ Breakthrough
Your words might be the answer to someone’s prayer. Someone’s waiting on the other side of your obedience.
You don’t have to feel “enough” to start.
Just be willing. God will take it from there.
