Our own little business

It seems ridiculous, but we have tried so many things to be our own boss. We’ve sold cheesecakes, enchiladas, tacos, barbecue, peanut brittle, seasoning blends, kirby vacuums, Herbalife, vacation packages, automobiles, fireworks, newspaper ads......you name it we’ve tried it! All in the hopes of someday we could “Be our own Boss”

Ange, a graduate of Midwestern State University is a veteran teacher of 18 years and a natural salesperson. Mike, also a teacher, has a Culinary Degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and knack for cooking. Together we finally put our skills together to come up with our own original “One Two Three Salsa Mix” recipe. Its been tweaked a few times and our logo and packaging is on its 5th change but we think we finally got it down.

Every week, every year, we travel all across Texas selling our mix to places up north like Denton all the way down to San Antonio, out west to Sweetwater, east to Jacksonville, Tyler and everywhere in between. We meet so many nice interesting people on the road. So many helpful vendors, talented craftsmen, and thousands of friendly customers. Its not just a saying, Texas truly is the friendly state!

Our Salsa Mix is a blend of 13 different herbs and spices. It has expanded to five varieties and each packet is still hand packed, labeled and sealed by us and our three sons. You can find us most weekends at the Dallas Farmers Market and the Market on Exchange at the Stockyards in Fort Worth.
