High Wind Warning
HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM CST WEDNESDAY
High Wind Warning issued December 9 at 1:31PM CST until December 10 at 9:00AM CST by NWS Des Moines IA
* WHAT...Northwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
expected.

* WHERE...Portions of western, central, and northern Iowa.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 9 AM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.
Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.
