Good morning Ellis County. Who all is having issues with Pioneer Telephone service - including land line and high speed internet?

We would like to hear from you. We are in the process of writing a piece on Pioneer and its failure to provide basic land line service in southern Ellis County. It is our understanding it is prevalent on the north side of the county too.

Good morning Ellis County. There was an event involving officers and a citizen last night in Shattuck. There was gunfire. Some are talking about it on social media so we wanted to address the matter.

Let the facts come out first.

What we do know:
1. Our county officers are okay and uninjured.
2. The OSBI has been called in to investigate the matter and the process is ongoing.
3. Be kind. The details are not official so there is no need to spread rumors. There was a fatality involved in this.
4. Pray for the officers involved. This is Ellis County not a metro area. They need our thoughts and support.
5. Pray for the family and individual involved. No matter the circumstances.
