Their story will be passed down to future generations and will serve as a glimpse into a moment in our history that will not soon be forgotten, and a lesson that love can overcome anything.

I don’t think we had ever teared up during a first consultation with a couple, that was until we met David & Calvin and heard their story. I think we all just instantly knew we HAD to work together, their love story was meant to be told in a beautiful way. But I won’t ruin it, WATCH THEIR FILM and hear it from them… oh and bring the tissue! 😭

The biggest lesson that we took away is that through great struggle, love can overcome. And nothing could be more relevant today, with what I’m sure is thousands of couples having to postpone their wedding days. I can’t imagine what you all are going through, and I know it’s hard to imagine right now, but I truly believe through these challenges it will make your union even more powerful 🧡.

It's always super flattering when a fellow creative chooses us to capture their day, Adam & Kathy are on another level though! They legit work in the film industry in LA, pro status 🤩. So not gonna lie, we do get a little nervous when that is the case... but then we met them at Joshua Tree for their pre-shoot and quickly found them to be the warmest, funniest, kindest souls.

While I (rafa), picked Adam's brain about all things hollywood & RED cameras, the girls bonded over a beautiful shrub skeleton that they found (it still sits in our living room as a pretty display).

We also got to meet their beautiful beast of a dogs and capture them in all their glory 🐶. And that would come to be super meaningful footage because the doggos would not be able to join us up in Washington for the wedding 😭.

A few months later, their wedding day was nothing short of magical, super fun and warm energy just like them, it truly felt like a reflection of their personalities. Kathy's dad stole our hearts with his goofy personality and beautiful singing 😍. Adam and his boys killed it on the dance floor 🕺🏻. And they both wrote amazing vows that told a beautiful story, and that in the end really drove their wedding film.

Hope you guys enjoy another fun, upbeat kinda film that will take your mind off the world for a few minutes 🥳.

Pure magic. That's what we felt both on the wedding day and the pre-shoot of Janelle & Piete... internally freaking out a little bit as we watched our camera screens and realized how epic, how beautiful these moments were. It's those times we just become very silent on the wedding day, as to not disturb what is unfolding.

Water was a huge recurring theme throughout, and they completely embraced it. From getting absolutely soaked at the base of a massive waterfall, to Janelle reading her vows in the rain after the ceremony, the water just made everything so romantic, like straight out of an epic romance film.

And we have to say that we loved how much Janelle & Piete both brought their own creative ideas and overall STOKE to the process. We were able to exchange ideas, and that poem they wanted to include perfectly tied the story together.

The Wedding Film of Pema & Brian's Tibetan & Western Wedding at the Sunset Club in Seattle.

They're quirky cool, they're inspiring and fascinating individuals, I poured my heart out as I always do but times 10,000 cause I was overwhelmed by the UNIQUENESS OF THEM!!! I felt comfortable as an editor taking risks with these two, everything about them screamed DIFFERENT, UNIQUE, QUIRKY. AND WE FREAKING LOVE THEM FOR IT!!! The entire Pema and Brian experience was a rollercoaster. They inspired us with a very quirky home made video 😉💙BLEU, they brought the richness of each of their cultures, and have been such a breath of fresh air. Super ideal clients for sure!! They wanted something unique, fun, something different and so I ran with it! But what's cool is that they actually ARE those things. Talking the talk AND walking the walk.

WE LOVE TO BE CHALLENGED!!!❤️ BRING ON MORE PEMA AND BRIANS PLLEEEASE!!!!
