Wow thank you all for sharing the link. We had 875 people read the current issue so far (on issuu.com) and about 1300 looks and visits. PLEASE keep sharing the link and follow us on issuu.com and our other social media sites (here and instagram). In order for me to keep being able to do this magazine I need to grow in the amount of people that view, read, follow and share the issues!!! But THANK you all so far for the support and help!!

Hello and Happy 2018!!

With all the horrible fires and mudslides and just the holidays in full force, we got a bit delayed in posting the link to the current Holiday issue. Starting in this new year, we switched our online platform to www.issuu.com.

This issue has stories on the wonderful Varian Arabians, Yummy Eclair Bakery, great holiday photos by Vivian Krug Cotton, AGHS drama review of “Big Fish”, an awesome 1959 VW Bus and so so much more!!

So here is the link below. It’s free to read the entire issue, you just need to download the app. And click on the cover.

Hard copies went out around town and mailed to wineries, businesses etc prior to the holiday! There might be a few copies still hanging around in front of Doc Bernstein’s? I dropped a big stack there.

We have now uploaded our back issues to the new platform (issuu.com) as well so you can search the site for “Arroyo Grande Living” to also read the back issues for free as well.

Hooray!!! Issue #2 is out and ready for you to read!!

October 2017 Arroyo Grande Living is full of small town charm, from our 80th annual Harvest Festival to a wonderful resident with a golden age of Hollywood past!!

Hooray! The September (debut) issue of the magazine is here. I have passed out complimentary issues around the Village and mailed them to schools, wineries and local businesses etc.

I left a few large stacks around the Village (in front of Doc Burnstein's, restaurants etc). Was SO happy to see quite a few people picking them up!

If you missed getting a complimentary issue, you can always get one from the links below.

There are two versions offered of the magazine online. An economy version (which has a much lower quality paper and print) and the premium version (which is the one that is passed around town and mailed out). The premium version has great cardstock, luxe paper which adds to the content inside!

Sadly, I wish I could pass out thousands of complimentary copies to everyone but until we get some notice and AD support, I can't up the print run just yet!

Help get the word out! Help us get some local Middle School and High School kids from Arroyo Grande to submit their artwork and photography, or write an article about something they are passionate about. Remember this is a community magazine after all! October's issue is almost complete and will most likely be out and passed around town in early October so keep an eye out and THANK YOU to all that have helped us get started!!!

Okay neighbours we are still actively searching for 1 male and 1 female Arroyo Grande High School senior (meaning going to be a senior this fall) for a feature on Senior Portraits. If they participate in the feature they get all the photos taken for free from the shoot, plus 4 edited shots from the shoot as well (sample shots below). Photo shoot must take place before August 3rd.

Please if you know anyone that has a child that would be interested, please have them send a photo and a little blurb about themselves to: [email protected]

Going to post this here and hope it's allowed, if not PLEASE except my apologies in advance but thought it might be a good way to get community kids involved. Please let me know if there was another avenue that I should have taken. My older daughter will be starting 9th at Arroyo Grande High this year and my younger daughter starting 8th at Paulding Middle School. We will officially launch in September 2017, but are now currently taking submissions for content consideration for our debut issue (and beyond).

So if you are a teen or pre-teen living in Arroyo Grande and have an interest in writing, or photography or art contact us about possibly being featured. Also if you just have something exciting to tell us, maybe a trip you have just taken or a hobby that you do or a cause or charity close to your heart, contact us as we are all ears and want to hear about it. Not only is getting published a great way to express yourself and share what interests you, it might be a something nice to add to a college application?

If you are a local Arroyo Grande business (or in the surrounding areas) that would like to introduce yourself, contact us as we look forward to meeting you.

Or are you an Arroyo Grande resident with a story or history in and around Arroyo Grande and the Central Coast contact us. We love history and all things vintage!!!

If you are an Arroyo Grande resident that has been married 50+ years, we would love to hear your story and come out and take some photos of you. It's quite a milestone and should be celebrated.

Are you an Arroyo Grande resident that has a charity close to your heart and need a little publicly, let us know. We will do whatever we can to help.
After all, what good is a community magazine if we can't help get the community involved in something worthwhile and important.

Are you an Arroyo Grande resident with an adorable pet? We love to do a pet of the month feature. As long as it's not a spider... we here at the magazine have a big case of Arachnophobia 😉. And a little scared of biting, stinging and creepy ones too if we have to be honest. Those you might have to photograph yourself and submit!

Got an awesome vintage car?? We would love to see it and hear all about it. All about the sweat and tears of it's restoration or it's story of how you came to own it.

Are you an Arroyo Grande resident with a recipe and want to show us how it's done we can make that work too!! Yum yum.

Come on Arroyo Grande, let's make this a community magazine that is not only a pleasure to read but one to be proud of. You got an idea for a feature or story, heck, run it by us and we will see what we can do.

We are also looking for one male and one female student that is going to be a senior this coming year, attending Arroyo Grande High for a feature on "Senior Portraits - The Do's and Dont's" and we will photograph them and give them their photos to keep. We will take the first two that contact us via email with an interest in being featured in the article.

We do not however feature anything with religion, hunting and politics.

We LOVE and EMBRACE everyone (all shapes, sizes, races, genders, sexual orientation and so on and so on) but we stay away from politics, hunting and religion issues just to keep the peace for all!! And in today's world that's an epic feat in itself sometimes!

Now if you want to advertise then contact us about rates and if you want us to come out and do an engagement/wedding photo and announcement you can also call us for our fee for that type of feature.

We reserve the right to print or not print any content at our discretion.

Arroyo Grande Living loves the Central Coast and our Village of Arroyo Grande and hope to share that beauty and timeless charm with you. With features about dining, fabulous places to stay, things to do and short day trips, vintage stuff and vintage cars, happenings in and around the community, articles written by local teens and pre-teens from from the community, art and photography submissions by local students as well.
