Artesia Clean & Beautiful Yard of the Week for July 11, 2025


This welcoming front porch created by Stephanie Cronopulos at 1816 Hermosa is shared with her daughter, Gabby her husband Noe and dog Raja. Come sit for a spell and take in all the beautiful colors of the lilies, herbs, lavender, hydrangeas and roses. You can see a different flower everywhere you look, and the yard looks just like a plush carpet, dog approved of course.

East Central Chaves County in southeastern New Mexico...

* Until 730 PM MDT.

* At 649 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 34 miles
southeast of Elkins, or 43 miles east of Roswell, moving south at
10 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Mainly rural areas of East Central Chaves County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
