For all of my drift friends,
I want to update you guys on my situation.
I don’t usually post personal information or post how I’m feeling online, however I’m aware that some of you are worried. As such, I’m feeling some responsibility to provide an update.
Please don’t worry. I had a very minor surgery yesterday to repair the orbital floor in my left eye socket, which was one of 3 fractures on the left side of my face. I also fractured L4 in my lower spine. The spine will require a brace for some time but no surgery at this point. The remaining facial fractures will be left to heal on their own.
I should head back to denver today or tomorrow and am getting help arranging flights/rides.
I just wanted to keep any of my friends from unwarranted worry or stress, I will be just fine.
Josh, Jake, Luke and Levi are all pretty banged up but were fortunately able to continue on the road to Connecticut for FD after sifting through the detritus and arranging a new tow vehicle. (Thank you Jack)
Here’s to hoping that our little pit stop in Pennsylvania still allows Levi have an amazing time driving this round in FD and showing the world the potential that we all see in him.
Go Team Bone Squad, Go Colorado, and most of all, Go Levi!!!
Thanks to everyone for reaching out, your thoughts were appreciated and well received.
