BIG WIN FOR ANIMALS IN UTAH

"Biscuits Bill" was passed to help animals caught in legal limbo after being rescued from abuse and neglect situations.

The law was inspired by Biscuit, a dog who spent more than three years in a shelter while her court case remained unresolved. Under the new law, courts can review these cases and allow animals to be placed in foster homes, rescue organizations, or other approved settings instead of spending years in shelters waiting for legal proceedings to end.

This is an important step toward protecting animal welfare, reducing shelter overcrowding, and ensuring rescued animals have the opportunity to receive care and rehabilitation while cases move through the court system.

Every animal deserves safety, compassion, and a chance at a better life. ❤️🐶
