Did you know the Pit Bull’s story began in early 1800s England? 🐶
Back then, breeders crossed Bulldogs with Terriers to create a strong, athletic dog for bull-baiting and later dog sports. When these practices ended, the breed found a new purpose: loyal family companion and all-around farm helper.

In the mid-1800s, immigrants brought these dogs to America, where they became known as the American Pit Bull Terrier. Here, they earned their reputation not only for courage and strength, but also for loyalty and affection toward people.

By 1898, the United Kennel Club officially recognized the breed, cementing its place in history.

From English arenas to American homes, the Pit Bull has carried a legacy of resilience, loyalty, and devotion. 🐕❤️
