Colorado never ceases to impress… and neither does the 4R. From last week off-roading around Montezuma with . It’s hard to find a bad angle when the backdrop is Keystone and Breck, but a decent sunset and a fresh dusting of snow certainly doesn’t hurt either.

Last fall the James river in Richmond got a ton of rain in just a couple days, and rose to higher than its been in years. I missed the peak of the flood stage, but headed south anyway to catch up with some friends and film a gratuitous amount of whitewater slow-mo as the level started to drop.

I took this pano yesterday as the sun was setting behind the mountains and the longtail boats were just getting back for the night. It’s going to be tough to leave Koh Phi Phi tomorrow.

The sun rising next to Mt Rinjani a few weeks ago. Being in Koh Phi Phi is reminding me a lot of the Gili Islands in Indonesia.

One last pic from Bali.
I’ll definitely miss the laid back beaches in Canggu, but I’m stoked to be in Phuket once again!
Managed to rent a brand new Yamaha MT-07 today and just rode around the island. No more off-roading for now, but the highway speeds are much improved!

My last sunset in Bali was pretty solid!
If you told me five years ago I’d be able to put together an HDR long exposure panorama on my phone, I would’ve called you crazy. That said, it worked okay!
This photo has two shots for the foreground (close focus on the rock, then mid focus long exposure for the water) and two shots for the mid ground and sky. It’s a little rough around the edges, but it should be solid once I can do a computer edit! I put this together mostly to see if it was possible on my phone, and with just LR mobile and PS Fix it sort of worked!

I’m a big fan of the ‘secret’ locals beach showed me up the coast from Tanah Lot. As the tide went out, the still wet black sand created a perfect mirror for the setting sun.
