Somebody explain why I suddenly need 32 OZ of brownies: The sign says 662110 Fudge Brownie Bites 32 OZ Tub, savings $3.00, sell price $9.99, and price per oz $0.31 like I am supposed to feel financially responsible. But now I am staring at a whole tub of chocolate brownie bites in the bakery section, already imagining everyone eating three and then leaving the rest to dry out on the counter. My wife said they would be good for guests, but guests always say they are too full after I buy the dessert. Would you grab this or keep walking?

I actually tilted my head at the sign: Costco has Butter Pound Cake 3 Pack Loaves on sale for $7.49 after $1.50 off, and somehow I am supposed to feel like I just beat the system. The sign says price per cake $2.49, which sounds cheap until you realize I am now being convinced to buy three entire pound cakes like I am hosting a church reception. My wife said it is a good deal, but if I bring home 3 loaves of cake, nobody better take one slice and then let the rest sit wrapped in plastic until it turns into countertop furniture. Would you grab this or keep walking?

I nearly laughed and then got annoyed: Costco really put Crusty French Baguettes 3 Pack on sale for $4.99 and made it look impossible to pass up. Yes, $1.66 per loaf sounds great, but now I have to plan meals around baguettes, find space for them, and convince everyone in the house to eat bread with every single thing. My wife says we can freeze one, but I did not come to Costco to start managing a baguette storage program. Would you buy these or keep walking?

This aisle really tried to convince me I run a daycare: The sign says 748810 Creamy Peanut Butter 2 x 48 OZ Jars for $24.99, and somehow I am supposed to casually bring home enough peanut butter to survive a minor emergency. I get that it is Kirkland and it is a big pack, but this is still peanut butter wrapped in plastic on a cardboard tray, not some luxury protein program. My wife said we will use it eventually, but eventually is exactly how Costco turns my pantry into a warehouse annex. Would you grab this or leave it there?

I swear Costco makes everything feel urgent: The sign says 774912 Water Boiled Bagels 2 Sleeves 12CT, discount $1.50, sell price $6.49, and price per bagel $0.54 like I am supposed to feel financially brilliant. But now I have two full sleeves of bagels sitting there in plastic bags, and I did not wake up planning to manage a bagel storage situation. My wife said we can freeze them, but I did not come here to start a breakfast inventory system. Is this a real deal or just bulk pressure?

Somebody explain why I suddenly need luxury danishes: The sign says Cherry & Cheese Danish 4 Pack Large, savings of $2.00, price per danish $2.49, sell price $9.99, and I am standing there like Costco is trying to hypnotize me with cherry filling. These are not served warm, not plated, not handed to me with coffee, just sitting in a clear plastic container with icing stuck to the lid. My wife said grab them for breakfast, but at $9.99 nobody in my house better say they are not in the mood tomorrow. Who is actually buying these without second guessing it?

I looked up and got personally offended: Costco has All Butter Croissants 12 Count Tray sitting there for $5.99 after an Instant Rebate of $1.00, and somehow everyone is acting like I should be impressed. The sign says price per item $0.49, which sounds cute until you realize I am now buying a whole plastic tray of croissants because Costco whispered savings at me. My wife said it is a great deal, but if I bring home 12 croissants, nobody better eat one bite and leave flakes all over the counter. Who is actually finishing these before they go stale?

Hold on: I am literally shaking because explain to me why Costco has Artisan Sourdough 6PK Fresh Baked sitting in a cardboard box for $19.99 like bread suddenly became a luxury hobby. The sign says discount $4.00, price per loaf $3.33, savings advertised, but somehow I am still supposed to casually spend almost $20.00 on bread wrapped in plastic bags and stacked in a warehouse bin. My wife said it is a good deal because there are 6 loaves, but now I need freezer space, meal planning, and emotional support just to buy sourdough. Who is really finishing all this bread?

Look at this: I went to the bakery section for a simple dessert and somehow ended up staring at Gourmet Cupcakes 12CT Assorted for $32.99 after they were apparently $39.99. The sign says clearance and last chance price like I should feel lucky, but almost $33.00 for cupcakes still feels insane when they are sitting between regular cakes in a warehouse cooler. My wife said kids would love them, but at this price nobody better lick the frosting off and abandon the cake part. Who is buying these without questioning it?

Tell me why: I went to look for a simple sweet treat and somehow ended up debating $17.99 chocolate chip cookies at Costco like I was making a serious investment. Item 788411, Choc Chip Cookies 12CT, Bakery Fresh, price per cookie $1.50, rebate $3.00, and still the sell price is screaming $17.99 on the sign. My wife said they would be good for guests, but at $17.99 nobody better take one bite and say they are too full. Who is buying these without questioning it?
