Loudoun Community Press is proud to sponsor the Loudoun Youth Poet Laureate Program. This Friday, on June 27 we will provide a poetry workshop exploring hyperbole at the Loudoun County Senior Center at Cascades. Thank you, Supervisor TeKrony and the Loudoun Board of Supervisors, for this honor and recognition! The Loudoun Youth Poet Laureate Program (and Loudoun Community Press) are grateful for your support of youth voices and the arts in Loudoun County.
Thank you for providing the opportunity for our 2025 Loudoun Youth Poet Laureate, Krisha Dotiwalla, to perform her poetry. Also, thank you for acknowledging our Youth Poet Ambassadors — Harsha Antham, Jessica Awuah, Karin Jeon, Ojasvi Ramani, Dominic Runski, and Prachi Thakkar — for also representing and contributing to our community as poets.
Our director, Jessica Monte, appreciates your support and help with the Loudoun Youth Poet Laureate Program. We look forward to expanding access to spoken word art across Loudoun and Northern Virginia. Again, we are so grateful for yesterday's recognition.

Introducing the 25’-26’ LCP Student Board of Directors 🖤🤍

Join Loudoun Community Press's 2025-2026 Cohort! Loudoun Community Press provides a number of adolescent and teen arts and publishing programs. Each year, our Board of Directors selects a theme and publishing project for young people to produce together for Loudoun County. Loudoun Community Press Cohorts meet weekly and are led by a Student Board of Directors. Together they participate in group activities, lead arts and education programming for partner organizations, and support other program participants, such as the Sterling Community Center's Black History Month Expo, Loudoun Youth's Claude Moore Community Builder program, and the Loudoun County Public Library's Write On Contest. Loudoun Community Press Cohorts are required to complete editing and publishing training. Applicants to this program must be Loudoun County or Fairfax County residents and rising 9th to 12th grade students.
