At 49 yrs old, I started running for the first time ever to celebrate my health and turning 50 years old. I’m now 51🥰

“I would only run if something was chasing me” is what people say to me.
I run because I like the discipline of training (most of the time), the feeling of being proud of finishing each run and the excitement of the races!!!

I know that not everyone can run. I believed that I couldn’t until I decided to try. I am beyond grateful for the physical ability I have to run.

But It’s not always easy. My muscles hurt. My feet hurt. It’s hot 🥵 I’m pushing my body beyond its every day capabilities. Some days it’s a mental struggle that I lose.

But I don’t give up. I keep fighting!

For myself and my health.

I am worth it. So are you.
