Awesome day exploring the 🚀 Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex at NASA's Kennedy Space Center 🌕! Some days just hit different—and this was one of them. 🧑‍🚀

Over the last couple of years, we’ve pieced together this incredible space story 💫 without even realizing it. From wandering the Smithsonian in D.C., to visiting White Sands in New Mexico where we learned about Ham the monkey and his historic flight… then today—seeing actual artifacts from the early Mercury program that supported his launch into space. Full-Circle-Moment and a roadschooling win for sure! 🤯

Lessons don’t live in silos when you travel like this—history connects, places connect, and suddenly your kids are standing in front of something they learned about months ago saying, “Wait… we’ve heard this story before.”

That’s the magic of life on the road. One adventure at a time, one connection at a time, and memories that stick way longer than any worksheet ever could . ❤️🚐✨

Yesterday was one of those Disney days we’ll never forget 🇺🇸✨

Before lunch, while visiting the Hall of Presidents, a Cast Member from Guest Relations asked if we’d be willing to participate in the evening Flag Retreat on Main Street, U.S.A. I had no idea that there is only one true U.S. national ensign in Magic Kingdom, with all the others being display flags—so this ceremony carries real meaning.

As a Veteran, seeing guests stop, remove their hats, place hands over hearts, and show that level of respect—right in the middle of Disney magic—was amazing.

It was our first Disney Flag Retreat, and being invited to participate was an absolute honor. A perfect reminder that even in a place built on imagination and fun, respect for our country and one another still stands tall .

Disney magic + patriotism = a moment we’ll carry with us forever.

Reason 999 why we LOVE this journey! We spent the day exploring ZooTampa 🐘 after the kids asked to go learn about a place they saw on NatGeo 🌎.

A great roadschooling 🏞 curriculum addition if you're in the Tampa area! The girls were so excited to tell us about the animals they saw and recognized from Secrets of the Zoo 🦓 .

Shell yeah, Jekyll Island! 🐢

We spent part of our day on Jekyll Island visiting the Georgia Sea Turtle Center. The girls loved seeing the animals that were being treated and learning why they were there. It sparked some great conversations about science, ocean life and conservation. 🌊

If you’re visiting Jekyll Island with kids, this is a stop the whole family will love ! 💚
