I’m very thankful this law was changed to 18; however 16 & 17 yr. old can continue to donate blood with parental consent. Parental consents are not respected. I would like the new law revised to state ONLY 18 yr. olds are allowed to donate blood. PERIOD. No one younger. Also, I would like to keep blood donation businesses out of the school system. Anyone under the age of 18 is considered a child.
