To help celebrate NINE years of MayerWood, on MayerWood day, (March 21st 2023) we will be releasing our latest project, IF ONLY, A gun violence PSA that centres around two groups of black men who are on an all too familiar collision course for each other.

IF ONLY will be playing exclusively at the Future of Art Exhibition 4.0, an exhibition celebrating Black Futures running from March 21 to April 12, 2023 in the Gallery at the Meridian Arts Centre (5040 Yonge St, North York).

Regular gallery hours from Wednesday, March 22 to Wednesday, April 12, 2023 are:
Wednesday – Saturday, 11 AM - 6 PM
Sunday, 12 PM – 7 PM

The MayerWood Film Fund will be an ongoing fund effort to help get our projects off the ground and completed through financial support! The Fund will not be our only way of creating income for our productions but will act as additional plus to help with getting them completed. Up until now, everything seen on MayerWood since 2014 has been funded solely by the founders and as anyone who does independent film work will tell you, it is not cheap. Though we are always ready and willing to put our all into our work, some exterior support would help our cause and make things a lot easier on the workload.

We hope we can count on your support through sponsorship to help us achieve our goal of being at the forefront of the Canadian film industry. Your support through donations and stewardship will help set the foundation for creating a new wave of entertainment for BIPOC creators. Ten years from now MayerWood will be the face of the film industry, building equal opportunities for everyone while crafting entertaining yet educational cinematic experiences.
