This piece, due to the name, is a bit based on late French comic book genius, Fred, whose fantastic Philemon series based on this young boy (Philémon) and his donkey friend Anatole and his uncle Félicien and his grandfather traveling to this alternate Earth where the continents are in the shape of letters, initials for the oceans they are in. The continent of A is for Atlantic for example. Anyway, this series has deeply marked my childhood imagination and still holds fresh today as illustrator/writer Fred did things no one has done in the comic book arena.

Hello everyone. I've just started a new class which focuses on music production and arrangement. This will apply to any DAW user out there (Sonar, Logic X, Reason, Cubase, Reaper, Fl Studios....) and will range from learning how to mix and eq, how to use on board compressors and limiters to arranging your songs and knowing how to use or create good sounds such as kicks, synth pads, basses, percussion, sound efx,, etc...
The arrangement part of this class will explore the art of arranging songs (particularly in electronic music); from melodic and harmonic variations, beat changes, and the toughest one of all, song endings.
I will be using Ableton Live but the info delivered will apply to any other DAW out there.
This class will cover 'in the box' mixing; using plugin compressors, eq's and limiters, how to spot and eliminate 'mud' in a track or in some cases use it to your advantage, how to export and begin to use mastering software.
This is a weekly class for individuals and or groups. Cost is $40/hour or the cheaper route; $140/month.
