ARMED MAN WHO ALLEDGEDLY CRASHED INTO THE BILTMORE ESTATE GATE IS IN THE BUNCOMBE COUNTY JAIL - $10,000.00 BOND

According to the Buncombe P2 website, Johnathan Brian Eubanks, was the person arrested at the Biltmore Estate on 10-26-25.

Eubanks has been charged with alledged Assault with a Deadly Weapon - Carying a Concealed Weapon - First Degree Trespass - Fleeing and Aluding Arrest - Failure to Heed a Siren.

The website says the Biltmore Company Police is the arresting agency.

He is currently under a $10,000.00 bond.

TRUCK HAULING HERPES AND COVID INFESTED MONKEYS OVERTURNS IN MISSISSIPPI -

A truck hauling "aggressive" monkeys has overturned in Mississippi. According to authorities, the Rhesus monkeys were on their way to a testing facility in Florida after being at Tulane University.

The monkeys are 40 pounds and are "aggressive", authorities say. They are also carrying hepatitis . herpes, and COVID,

⚡️UPDATE⚡️GUNMAN APPREHENDED AT THE BILTMORE ESTATE - BILTMORE RESPONDS TO SKYLINE -

On October 27th 2025, SKYline broke the story of a man that crashed into the front entrance gate of the Biltmore Estate, waved a gun, and tried to make his way to the Biltmore House.

The Biltmore Company responded to our request for information. The following is what Biltmore Public Relations Officer Marissa Jamison sent us.

"On Sunday, Oct. 26, at 8:46 p.m., an individual displayed a firearm upon reaching the estate's first security gate. Biltmore Company Police quickly apprehended the suspect without incident, and he was then transported off the property by the Asheville Police Department. We are extremely grateful to our security and police teams for their immediate response."

A tourist, that did not want their name mentioned said, "We were greatful for the Biltmore Company Police. They kept us safe and away from the danger." Tourist said, "This kind of thing could have happened to any venue, public area, or estate where people come to enjoy history and scenery."

SKYline will have the name of the person arrested shortly.

ASHEVILLE POLICE & NC HIGHWAY PATROL SAVING LIVES WITH CAMPAIGN DURING HALLOWEEN WEEK -

The Asheville Police Department, in partnership with the North Carolina Governor’s Highway Safety Program, has launched its annual “Halloween Booze It & Lose It” campaign.

This statewide enforcement campaign begins Monday, October 27th, and will run through November 2nd. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the dangers of impaired driving. Halloween consistently sees some of the highest instances of Driving While Impaired (DWI) annually. Drivers can expect to see an increased law enforcement presence to help keep roads safe.

The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles reports that 361 people died in alcohol-related crashes in North Carolina in 2024. There was a total of 11,782 alcohol-related crashes on NC roads last year.

If you plan on celebrating Halloween out, plan ahead by designating a sober driver or using rideshare services. Motorists caught driving while impaired could face jail time, lose their driving privileges, and pay an average of $10,000 in fines, towing fees, and other expenses associated with a DWI.

⚡️UPDATE⚡️ALLEDGED VIOLENT PERVERT, STEPHEN SPEED, RAN FOR MAYOR OF WAYNESVILLE IN 2023 AS A REPUBLICAN - WERE HIDDEN CAMERAS IN HIS "ALL ABOUT FITNESS GYM"? - As first reported on SKYline, Stephen E. Speed turned himself in to the Haywood County Detention Center after being charged with multiple crimes. After a lengthy investigation, Speed was indicted by the Grand Jury on the alledged following charges:

-Disseminating Obscenity X 5
-Third Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor X 2
-Extortion
-Intimidating a Witness-Possession of Firearm by Person Subject to Domestic Violence Order
-Second Degree Forcible Sexual Offense X 3
-Assault by Strangulation

Speed is currently being held on a $500,000.00 bond.

SKYline has now learned that Stephen Speed was the owner of "All About Fitness Gym" at Waynesville Plaza. According to The Mountaineer News Paper, Speed also ran for Waynesville Town Mayor as a Republican in 2023 but dropped out of the race.

Speeds Instagram shows multiple videos of himself inside his gym. Former members of the gym have contacted SKYline with concerns if hidden cameras were inside the dressing rooms, saunas, and a red light therapy room.

SKYline has reached out to the Haywood County Sheriffs Office with more questions. This is a continuing developing story.
