Thank you to everyone who stopped by at our booth yesterday during the Monster Dash! At least 50 families dressed in cool costumes had their photos taken by us with the 76-pound pumpkin!

It was a huge success!

Many families get the magazine in the mail and they love it!

Thanks to Sara for coming up with this idea and Jarod for doing all the photography!

I am so grateful for the 2 of them!

And thank you for the Ashland Schools Foundation for giving us a booth!

I tagged along to Kali Kraum’s very first photo shoot with Ashland Living Magazine. She took photos of Manya and her beautiful family at their Indigenous Mexican restaurant in town called Tlalli this morning.

It was so fun!

Manya and her family are full of energy and I can tell they have a big heart too!

I can’t wait to see how the pictures will turn out and and I am positive that many people in town are interested in hearing their story!

They will be on the cover of AL in December!

I made Hungarian stew yesterday and it was so delicious! It took me 2 and half hours but it was worth it.

And today I made pogácsa again and shared it with other potters during the glazing class.
All of the attendees loved it and 2 of them asked for the recipe!

We just started offering promotional videos to our advertisers for free of charge and Aja Holland, the owner of Aja’s Blinds and Designs was our very first subject! We are super excited to be offering this new service to our sponsors! Without them Ashland Living would not be in print!

Aja’s former client allowed us to use their house for the video shoot! It was a gorgeous house where Aja had installed many blinds in the past!

Plus the owners of the house get Ashland Living in the mail and they love it!

A few months ago I hired Jarod who happens to be my new writer’s husband to help me with SEO and social media. Since working with him we got a 100 new followers on Instagram, and the only video we have up there got close to 800 views!

It has been amazing to be working with Jarod and I can not wait to see what else we will come up with for the rest of the year!

He took multiple videos. I will post some as soon as the editing is done.
