Check out our second episode with special guest David Runkel, David grew up on a small Western Pennsylvania farm tending to steers, pigs and chickens. First job out of Penn State was being the reporter for an afternoon newspaper in a city near the farm about the size of Ashland including covering the City Council. Later covered City Halls in Baltimore and Philadelphia before being assigned to White House and Congress. When The Philadelphia Bulletin closed, he moved to government public relations, was press secretary to the Governor of Pennsylvania and later the Attorney General of the United States and the Banking Committee of the House of Representatives. He moved to Ashland 20 years and for 18 years owned and operated Anne Hathaway’s B&B and Garden Suites on East Main St with his wife
