As some (most) of you maybe noticed over the last year or so ComiCulture has been off radar. We made the decision earlier this year to silently retire it. When we first started this tiny little podcast we had no idea what it would turn into. As we talked we decided it had accomplished what we set out to do with it and then some, there was nothing left to do but decide.

I’m super stoked to announce that at the beginning of the year we are debuting the spiritual successor to ComiCulture. Think of this not as ComiCulture 2.0 but as a new direction and renewed energy. There will be more details to follow but for now, we’re proud to introduce you to…

Guest announcements! Wow it feels good to say that!

Next week we’re stoked to be chatting with TWO incredibly awesome voice actors you’ve probably heard of.

First up we have Lex Lang who throughout the years has lent his voice to projects such as Dragon Ball Super Naruto and more! Lex is also the long running voice of Dr. Neo Cortex in the Crash Bandicoot series!

Next up is a man who needs no introduction but is getting one anyway. Legendary voice actor Rob Paulsen is stopping by to chat about his oodles and oodles of characters like Carl Wheezer from Jimmy Neutron, Yakko from Animaniacs, Pinky from Pinky and The Brain and that’s just BARELY scratching the surface.

Next week Kevin is sitting down with one of the greatest trivia masters of all time, Brad “The Buzzsaw” Rutter. Brad initially rose to fame by having won the most money out of any Jeopardy! player in history through various tournaments over the years. He is currently one of the “Chasers” on ABC’s hit revival of trivia show “The Chase”.

Hi friends and family! After a couple week hiatus to take care of some family issues we are BACK!! To celebrate our return we’d like to start off with a guest announcement in the form of voice actor David Wald! David is perhaps best known for his role as Hannes on Attack On Titan, Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu on My Hero Academia & Gajeel on Fairy Tale! Please drop any questions you have for David down below!

One more note, last week we were hit with the incredibly sad news that voice actress and last guest of the show Philece Sampler passed away suddenly in her home. We were shocked and deviated to hear of her loss. We later learned we were her LAST interview and we will carry that honor with us forever. Rest In Peace, Philece.

This week ComiCulture is HONORED to speak with legendary voice actress Jennifer Hale! Throughout the years Jennifer has been attached to more than 200 iconic roles in video games, TV and film.

She is the voice of Samuel from Metroid Prime, Commander Shepard from Mass Effect, Avatar Kyoshi from the Avatar franchise, Catnape from Xiaolin Showdown, Bastilla Shan from Knights of the Old Republic and MUCH MUCH MORE. Most notably perhaps though is that Jennifer has been the voice of Disney princess Cinderella since the early 90s.

Wowza did we miss you!

After another couple week break (SORRY! It’s the last one we PROMISE)! We’re back at it with another great interview.

You’ll notice this episode again only has one guest and that’s by design. We’re going to start something called “ComiCulture One Shots” where instead of 3-4 interviews at once we do them spread out amongst the week! If it doesn’t work we’ll happily go back to the old tried and true method but for now, let’s be adventurous! This way we can focus more on not cutting content out of the the interviews for length concerns!

This week our one shot is with actress and musician Taylor Blackwell! We chat about her musical endeavors with The Tenth, acting, oracle decks and Kevin tells a story about how he was probably catfished!
