The Rollins Center for Lifelong Learning invites you to "The Beat of the Way", an evening with Paul Jacob (Jake) and The Beat Trio at the Bush Auditorium on the campus of Rollins College at 7:30 P.M. on Wednesday April 27th. This event will also raise money for Second Harvest Food Bank Orlando.

Paul W. Jacob is a poet, author, and RCLL instructor. He leads contemplative retreats across North America at spiritual centers like Ghost Ranch in New Mexico and lectures for the Roads Scholar program. Jacob also teaches English at Valencia College. His latest book, The Mystical Mixologist, is due out this fall.

The Beat Trio is composed of Will Calypso Jones on bass, Sergei Kossenko on piano, and Steve Prince on drums. These fine musicians are well known throughout the Central Florida area and have had regular nights at popular jazz clubs like Jazz Tastings in Maitland.

This night will also feature the release of Miami Session: A Spontaneous Jazz and Poetry Recording with the late great Eddie Higgins on piano and Paul Jacob (Jake) on vocals. Books, CD's and poetry posters will be for sale at the show.

Tickets will be available at the door, or you can get them in advance at the RCLL reception desk or directly from Paul Jacob. We hope to see you at this rhythmic event.

Now that Blue Collar Nomad has North American distribution, there are a few things that you can do to help get the word out to other potential readers and patrons. The first thing is to leave a review of the book on Amazon using the above link so that other readers can get an idea of what you thought of the book. Also, you can go into your local independent bookstore or Barnes and Noble and tell them to order the book for their store from IPG, who is our distributor. Word of mouth is good as well. Tell your friends.
