I helped out at the drone summer school program at the school. The kids wanted to do a video so they planned it directed it and edited it. All I did was guide them and fly the drone. I think they did a wonderful job, how about you?

The annual Fire run last night in Ashland

Copied this from a friend. Dealing with changing regulations all the time. This affect the city of Bayfield and the Coast Guard Cutter the comes into the Bay. I strongly suggest you stop by the Coast Guard Station in Bayfield if you want to fly your drone in that area and talk with them. Drone operators should pay attention to a NOTAM change that took place this week. Newly minted is NOTAM 5/5341 that creates TFRs prohibiting UAS flights near DoD assets and Coast Guard ports and vessels. The wording changed from NOTAM 9/3817 which had previously "strongly advised" against flight within 3,000 feet lateral and 1,000 feet above to now "prohibit" flight and give DoD the green light to Counter-UAS actions.
