I walked into IAAPA Expo 2025 not really knowing what to expect… and walked out with more inspiration, ideas, and connections than I could have planned for.
The week kicked off with the Triotech Influencer Breakfast, my first time attending IAAPA as press, early access, creator conversations, and a preview of what’s coming next in attraction tech. Then, Genein Letford, M.Ed NeuroSomatic Creativity® completely shifted how I think about learning and innovation, reminding me that business AND creativity is a full mind–body experience.
From there it was nonstop discovery:
• F&B vendors rolling out what’s next in flavors and guest experiences
• A street market full of new CPG brands
• Experiential vendors showing tools that could elevate any event
• Sessions with leaders from Nat Geo, Minecraft, Delta Flight Museum, TopGolf, Angry Birds, Ford Mustang and more
• And yes — an Aquafina obsession fulfilled that powered most of the week
But the part that stayed with me most?
The unexpected moments in between, the conversations in coffee lines, outside sessions, and at press events. Those connections were some of my favorite parts of the entire expo.
Thank you to my dear friend Ryan Allen and Little Birdie Consulting for the invite, for opening the door to a week that stretched my creativity, expanded my perspective, and connected me with people and ideas I genuinely needed.
Somewhere in the middle of 550,000 sq. ft. of innovation, it clicked:
Experiences like this change how I see stories, content, and the way brands connect with people and that inevitably shapes the work I create.
Not here to sell anything… just grateful for a week that will quietly influence everything that comes next.
