Remember the Jane Austen fabric I told you about? I made a tote from some of it! This is the fabric that has copies of handwritten letters and sheet music done by Jane. I absolutely love it! The tote is made from 100% cotton and has two layers of batting/stabilizer. The inside has two pockets. It's the perfect gift for the Jane Austen fan in your life or anyone that loves to read! It's just big enough to be a nice size tote/book bag but small enough to carry as a purse. It's $50. If you'd like to purchase it, just message me and we'll set up a pickup time.

It's time to sign up for my CSA!
What is a CSA? It stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Because the winter and early spring is the time when expenses are high and profits are low, I offer a CSA so that I get much needed funds now and you get a discount next summer.
Example: if you choose $100 for your CSA. You pay $100 now. And when the 2026 market season begins, you'll have $110 in credit to spend with me. (You get 10% extra) What can you purchase with your CSA funds? Anything I have. You can get produce, meat, plant starts, baked goods, handmade items, etc. If I have it, you can use your CSA funds to purchase it. You don't have to spend it all at once. I'll keep track of your purchases so you always know how much you have left to spend throughout the season. (I created a new spreadsheet to make things easier next year)
Right now I'm ordering seeds, seed trays, soil etc and planning for next year. If you'd like to join my CSA program and help support the future of agriculture, please fill out the Google doc and I'll send you a payment link. I'm only offering the CSA at the South Charleston Farmers Market for next year right now. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do at Ashton next year so I'm not including it yet. Once I know for sure, I'll update you guys. You're always welcome to join if you're in Ashton and would like to come to the South Charleston farmers market!

I now have freshly harvested WEST VIRGINIA GROWN mistletoe bundles!
I was surprised Saturday afternoon when someone locally contacted me about mistletoe that he harvested right here in WV! Of course I was super excited about it because I was going to have to order it from out of state. I have enough to make 20 bundles!

Pickup will be this weekend, Friday to Sunday, at the South Charleston Farmers Market

Oh my gosh y'all! I made sourdough gingerbread scones with maple vanilla bean icing and they're to die for!
Tender and flaky, moist. Perfection!
I feel like sometimes ginger can be a little overpowering (even in gingerbread) so I used half the ginger the recipe called for and added allspice since it has a similar taste profile. And of course cinnamon. I've always been intimidated by scones and now I don't know why. They're seriously amazing! Skip the coffee shop and stop by the South Charleston Farmers Market today for some mouthwatering scones! 🤤
