BASIN Glacial Waters is the new thermal sanctuary at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, and it takes the oldest bathing traditions of the Alps and sets them down in front of one of the most photographed views on earth.

This is contrast bathing at altitude. Move at your own pace between Finnish and Bio saunas, a circular reflexology pool, the Kneipp walk, and a glacial plunge, then pause at the Himalayan salt wall or the Vitality Pool with the Victoria Glacier just beyond the water's edge. The centerpiece is the outdoor Aufguss ceremony, a centuries-old ritual of scent, steam, and sound led by award-winning masters.

Marea Aspen's summer residency at the St. Regis is winding down, and it's closing the way it should: candlelit, unhurried, and worth lingering over.
