Love is the answer, at least for most of the questions in my heart
Like why are we here? And where do we go?
And how come it’s so hard?

It sometimes still blows my mind that we can hop in the truck, drive on the beach, and see a BEACHED WHALE! This guy has definitely seen better days, but it was great being able to take the boys to experience this up close.

A necropsy was performed today by Portland State University, Cascadia Research Collective, and , and it was determined that this nearly 53ft whale was hit by a vessel.

The beach will be this whales final resting place, where it will naturally break down and become an important source of nourishment for the local ecosystem. Scavengers like turkey vultures, bald eagles, and even coyotes will feast on it over time until there's nothing left.

After three years of nonstop travel and over four years in the camper, we’re finally done. What started as a one-year adventure turned into four years of wondering if we’d ever be able to stop. There were sleepless nights, hopeless days, and moments that should’ve broken us. We’re short two family members (we miss you, Jax and Shiva!) But instead, we grew stronger, as individuals and as a family.

It wasn’t all bad, though, and the memories we’ve made will last a lifetime. Three coast-to-coast trips and 29 states shaped us in ways we never expected and made us better people. Now, that chapter is closed, and a new one begins—on the coast of Oregon.

There’s something different about this place, something words can’t quite capture. The way the ocean kisses the mountains - the beauty here is unmatched. We’ve already met some incredible people, and we’re so excited for this next journey. Here’s to new beginnings, new adventures, and a place we finally feel at home.

We will share our new home soon!
