This Thursday, 8/28 at 7pm I'm going to be hosting the monthly RPG night at the Nonbinarian in Brooklyn!

This month we're playing Rom Com Drama Bomb, a 3-player RPG where two people who shouldn’t fall in love are up against the evil villain who will stop at nothing to make sure they do. Made by local designer Elliot Davis!

It's got the whimsy of a rom com and the energy of a high stakes action film, is easy to pick up, and I guarantee you'll have a weirdly hilarious time.

The other night I said goodbye to the greatest dog ever to live. 14 years ago I drove 3 hours to meet the stranger who saved Samantha and put her in the front seat of my car, and we drove the 3 hours home with her head in my lap. She was such a special dog, she loved animals that she shouldn't, she made rats and bunnies and cats and birds feel safe around her. She took care of me through breakups and moves and losses and sicknesses. She was patient through me working 12-hour shifts and overnights, and laid in my lap while I did schoolwork. I have never missed anything or anyone as bad as I miss her. She snorted when she was happy, sighed when she was comfy, and only ever barked in her sleep. She was the most perfect best friend to me for every day of those 14 years and I can't believe I have to live without her now. Thank you to everyone who loved her. I love you Sam, perfect lady.

Watching the crew show exactly why they are who they are, making playing a game for a full stadium audience actually fun and engaging, was actually incredible. I genuinely was skeptical on how it would translate to an audience that vast but they fu***ng KILLED it.
