✨ TEACHER OF THE MONTH ✨ Mr.Cooper teaches health science and career planning and has been teaching for 28 years. His favorite part about being a teacher is having a connection with kids and having a new batch of freshmen coming in to get to know them all. His favorite memory about teaching is when people see him around town and they yell out his name to catch up with him, students of his that he had years ago introduce him to their families and their children and he always thinks about the person they are becoming. Mr. Cooper originally started as a physical therapy major, but teaching was always in the back of his mind since his mother was also a teacher. In college Mr. Cooper was married and his wife was pregnant, they decided more years in college for physical therapy was not a good idea for him and his family so he turned to education. He is extremely happy he made that decision and he can’t imagine himself doing anything else. Lastly, his favorite thing to do during his free time is to go camping and go to the beach. He loves sitting at the campfire talking all night with his family and friends telling them stories and roasting smores.
