https://linktr.ee/StormChaserRobMcBay I was born March 14, 1993 in Decatur, Alabama in a roaring blizzard. I come from Cherokee descent, so my given name was Storm. When I was 13, I was given a new name, Storm Rider. I have always been fascinated by weather, often hiding outside during storms so I could watch in awe of such raw natural power. Something called me to these storms, and I

couldn't turn away. On April 27, 2011, we survived a direct hit by an EF5 tornado during the worst outbreak I had ever seen. Our entire community was destroyed, and I was forever marked by this destruction. That day, I thought about becoming a storm chaser, to help science better understand these storms and how they form, so that these storms no longer steal away lives and entire towns. It took me over 10 years to get here. I have spent the last decade chasing and foecasting local storms, until I had enough experience to be SAFE, most importantly, and accurate.
