I’m breaking down the exact 3-step formula to build a gorgeous, elevated gift basket to wow the graduate.., and Betty Lou 🤣

1. Choose your theme and color palette
2. Build your gift using items that fit the theme AND colors
Don’t be afraid to include items that don’t feel like a gift but support the theme. For this gift, I included body wash and dry shampoo that matched the color scheme.
3. Add a ‘Wow’ item such as a sprig of fresh greenery or an inexpensive school spirit button

A friend of mine had surgery recently so I wanted to bring over dinner. When I asked if they had any preferences, they immediately requested the “chicken casserole I brought last time.” 💕Turns out that’s one of my family‘s favorite recipes so I just doubled it for our dinner too! ✨

Creamy Chicken Casserole

3 cups chopped cooked chicken (or 1 rotisserie chicken, minus skin, chopped)
1 can cream of chicken soup
8 oz sour cream
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1 1/2 cups crushed Ritz crackers (40 crackers)
1/4 cup butter, melted

Lightly spray a 11 x7 baking dish with cooking spray. Combine chopped chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and poppy seeds. Spoon into greased dish.
Combine crushed crackers and melted butter and sprinkle over chicken mixture. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees.for 30 minutes

“I’ve got nothing to wear“ was a daily proclamation until I enlisted the help of beautiful, talented, and so much fun, NYC stylist, Kate. Let’s do this! 💃🏼👡

Closet clean-out was first on the agenda.
KEEP, TOSS or DONATE piles littered my closet floor with the largest two stacks being TOSS/DONATE 🤷🏼‍♀️
We then subscribed to Rent the Runway’s 10 items/month package with the plan that Kate selects all 10 items and I receive 5 every 2 weeks. My job is to communicate any special events that month so Kate can factor those in to the monthly selections. ✨
In addition to our Rent the Runway subscription, Kate sends me seasonal purchase suggestions to build my new wardrobe.

This adorable Ralph Lauren dress fits so comfy (wearing size 4. I’m 5’5”and 130 lbs) and it was perfect for my day in the city… A bit of shopping, walking the pups and enjoying a spring afternoon at The Whitley hotel.
