‼️TW: ED, body dysmorphia‼️

2024 is the year that I make my socials as real as humanly possible. No filtering out what I want others to see. No more lies. No more false positivity. No more illusions. Just real. The good, the bad, and the ugly. As I start trying to figure out what niches to gravitate towards, I realized that I don’t want the posts I make to be another false advertisement of my “perfect life” because the truth is it’s not perfect. I struggle. I cry. I lose myself and then find myself again. I want my first post of 2024 to show that. To support others. To offer a hand to those struggling with their social media presence because of this “fake reality” we are supposed to show. I want to be real and show people that it’s not about denying yourself for likes and follows but rather it should be about being human and showing it! I hope this helps others feel more comfortable sharing the good and bad parts of life. It’s time to BE REAL!

In 2023, I navigated a transformative journey filled with highs and lows. Despite the challenges, I emerged stronger, embracing a newfound version of myself. Highlights included attending my first rave in Athens, witnessing memorable performances by artists like Daily Bread and Hippie Sabotage, and conquering my fear of crowds. The realization that experiences outweigh fleeting wealth became evident at imagine music festival with my amazing CFM. The PLUR lifestyle was meant for me and I shouldn’t keep myself from that!

Discovering the concept of PLUR (Peace, Love, Unity, Respect) opened a new pathway, bringing healing not only to my interactions with others but also to self-love and respect. Navigating depressive episodes and anxiety, I learned to grant myself grace, let go of people-pleasing tendencies, and establish necessary boundaries. The journey of love became a central theme, marked by the profound connection with my supportive boyfriend, uncovering the true essence of genuine relationships. Embracing both platonic and romantic bonds, I learned the importance of community, self-confidence, and the profound impact of positive and negative experiences.

As 2023 unfolded, it wrecked and rebuilt me, leaving me forever grateful for the lessons and growth. Looking ahead to 2024, I eagerly anticipate more opportunities for growth and experiences, extending heartfelt thanks to those who supported and loved me throughout the year. May these relationships and the new ones I have yet to make flourish in the coming year.🫶🏼

Hey y’all! My name is Julia Brandt and I started this page about a year ago to post the makeup and hair that do on both myself and others for events going on through out the year or even just a night out! I realized I’ve never given y’all a rundown of who I am and what I do so I decided to exactly that… an introduction!

🪴I’ve been doing hair and makeup for about 7 years doing my hair for color guard performances or just for fun!
🪴2 years ago I quit college to pursue cosmetology but am currently on my journey to get my real estate license to pay for school (it’s a long process😂)
🪴around the same time I started doing my sisters hair and makeup for homecoming and prom and realized just how much I love event beauty!
🪴I am currently an Athens resident (so if you have any friends that need a tutorial on how to do some fun updo’s, half-up half-down’s, or even just a new curling technique for semi/formal/date nights, I’m your girl)
🪴my favorite hobbies are thrifting and taking care of my plants (I also make my own costumes for events which is always a great time)
🪴 being as eclectic as possible is my main goal (being basic just isn’t the trend for me but fun twists on basic trends = a good time)
🪴I live by the ideology that falsies, some tea w/ lemon and honey, and a cat are staples to finding happiness
🪴I’m a big naturalist (if I can find a way to make you look like the hottest person in room without putting toxins on your hair or skin, I will)
