Taking pictures has always been a hobby-turned-profession for me. I remember my parents buying me a Kodak 110 that flipped open to take the pictures. I brought it everywhere with me, taking pictures of everything. When I was about 12, they got me an Polaroid Instamatic.I loved the fact that my photos were developed than and there. I'd always considered photography as just a hobby. It wasn't until
my late twenties, and living in Alaska, that I realized that other people enjoyed it as well. Nancy McGuire hired me as a writer/photographer for The Nome Nugget Newspaper. When I moved back to Massachusetts, I got a part-time job working for The Gardner News. My first assignment: To get photos of , then President, Bill Clinton. I I was hooked. At that point, I started working for several newspapers, as their Photographer/occasional entertainment writer. Basically, that meant I went to a lot of concerts for free, got to interview some of the bands, right before they hit the stage, then got to take pictures from the pi, in front of the front row. I was in Heaven, but technology crept in and took that away from me. Now I take pictures of weddings, anniversaries, boudoir, senior portraits, and so much more.
