There’s nothing like having a relationship that makes you love coming home. That’s where peace lives. The noise of the outside world stays at the door because inside, you’re each other’s refuge.

A friend once told me about his marriage, saying, “Man, when I got off work, I had to stop at the bar and have a few drinks before I could even go home.”

That blew my mind — because my home is the opposite. It’s where love lives. Our kids feel safe here. Our marriage is full of healthy love, and that makes it so easy — and so good — to keep coming back.

The luxury of homeschool is that we can do our own field trips to where we want to go. A lot of attractions in Georgia offer homeschool day, which are special perks for families looking to take their kids to cool places.

Then you can go to lunch where you want to go to lunch. The girls love so that’s where we ended up.

Great day with my mom (their teacher) and the fam bam❤️❤️❤️

Before I met Aries, I went through two failed relationships that taught me who I needed to become in order to be a husband. I always prayed for a wife, children, and a house with a white picket fence.

My greatest accomplishment isn’t money, degrees, or status. It’s being her husband and their daddy. That’s the title I cherish most. I’m honored by the responsibility He’s entrusted to me, and I don’t take it lightly. It’s a daily reminder to honor what you pray for—because there’s nothing worse than asking God for something, receiving it, and then failing to take care of it.

I’m so glad we kept our wedding small and put our money into a house instead of spending thousands on a venue and feeding people we barely talk to. This photo was taken 11 years ago, and somehow our love feels even stronger now. Not that it wasn’t on fire then—but time, growth, and appreciation have only made it better.

I just wish the pictures didn’t suck 🤣. Our photographer got into a wreck on the way to my mom’s, so all we had were grainy tablet shots (big NO-NO). No wedding attire, no fancy backdrop—just a living room, some shaky videos, and us. But the one thing we did capture, then and now, is a love that refuses to fade.

Eventually, I’ll ask her to marry me again and we’ll have a legit photographer in the building to capture our moment❤️
