Before many artists had a seat at the table, Kanya King created one. Through the , she helped shine a light on Black talent across the UK and gave countless artists, musicians, and creatives a platform to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

Her vision helped shape generations of UK R&B, Hip-Hop, Grime, Reggae, Gospel, and beyond. The impact of her work will continue to be felt for years to come.

At BlackDiaryLove , we honor and thank her for everything she did for Black British music and culture.

If I spent my hard earned money supporting your business and paid full price, please don’t come back asking me for discounts on mine.

Don’t tell me you’ll “wear it for support” or “share it on social media” as payment.

I supported your dream with my wallet. I expect the same respect when it’s my turn.

Support isn’t always a like, a share, or a shoutout. Sometimes support is pulling out your card and making a purchase when you know someone is trying to build something.

Too many people want wholesale prices, family discounts, and favors from the same people they watched invest in them without hesitation.

Keep that same energy.

If I paid full price to support your business, I expect you to support mine the same way.

Nobody supports you until the world starts paying attention. Funny how people ignore your vision, your posts, your ideas, and your grind then suddenly become your biggest supporters once success shows up.

Don’t forget who believed in you when there was no spotlight. Not everybody who comes back deserves front row access to your life. Some people only love the results, not the journey. 💯🔥
