Partnering with great people makes big productions a whole lot easier.
Earlier this year, we teamed up with and Livebox Digital on a large-scale production in Las Vegas, leading audio design, supplying mixing engineers, and managing audio content across four mini-general session rooms, each hosting up to 3,000 attendees.

Each room featured more than 60 d&b loudspeakers, Shure Axient wireless, and Yamaha DM7 consoles. With one team handling the audio from pre-production through deployment, the rest of the production team had one less thing to coordinate.

Three years running and still one of our favorite rooms to be in.

We were proud to support our friends at for Uplift 2026, leading audio design for the general session with a brand-new d&b CCL system utilizing Array Processing, a Yamaha PM5, and a live band driving walk-in and play-on moments.

Adding a live band to a corporate show always raises the complexity—this year’s system totaled 72 inputs and 58 outputs, but the payoff is undeniable. There’s something different about live music. Real people. Real talent. Real energy that transforms the room.

The PM5 handled the workload with ease, while our own Dan Overheim joined the team to manage RF across the venue and help ensure quality control throughout the breakout spaces.

At the end of the day, the gear matters. The ex*****on matters. But getting to do great work alongside friends who happen to be our clients is what makes projects like this special.

We supported the Ford F1 Racing season launch with Imagination Detroit, contributing audio support for a high-profile show with 120 inputs, surround sound, major talent, and a large online audience.

It’s now the beginning of July, and honestly, Q2 can be blurry. It’s the busy season for everyone. You’ve been asked to do three different shows in the same week, squeezed in a red-eye from one gig to land in time for load-in the next day on another, and you’ve said no to as many gigs as you’ve said yes to.

That “no,” however, is offered with gratitude, and gratitude is the feeling of the season. The second quarter hummed along, much like spring, and we are still as busy as the bees. There are times when we, the Protostream Team, go a few days without a single message in the group chat, save for a quick, “Does anyone know why this might be happening?” It feels strange when I stop and acknowledge that, but everyone is on a different show and focused on the gig at hand.

I am grateful for the ProtoTeam, their dedication to their craft, their talent, and most of all, their friendship. We are fortunate to be able to blur the line between work and life. Here’s to living in the blur.
