In live production, the plan is just a suggestion. Gear shows up late. The PA doesn’t land where you want it. Suddenly the client wants three more mics in twenty minutes. That’s why our engineers don’t just prep for the show, they prep for everything around it.

The touring world is opening up to the idea of remote mixing.

Bands want to give remote audiences a better sonic experience for their money, and remote mixing is a great way to add value for their audiences while keeping overhead low for a broadcast mix.

Here’s Dan running a proof-of-concept-mix: every channel captured at 96k [up to 128ch] and mixed right inside the onboard engine.

Live music. Honest stories. A mission that matters.

Revival to Care was a fully integrated experience designed to break stigma, build community, and get real about HIV treatment access. Produced by Red Sofa and Lighthouse Creative Works for ViiV Healthcare, the event brought together a live band and choir, testimonial presentations, and meaningful connection points, all in one powerful room.

This wasn’t a job for cookie-cutter gear or cruise-control calling. Protostream came in as technical producer, building a show-ready environment from the ground up; designing audio, sourcing gear, mixing the live experience, and calling the flow. Mixed by Alex and called by Aram, every element had to move with purpose and support the mission without overwhelming it.

This is what we do best: turning intention into experience, where every detail supports the bigger message.
