π¨ RUNAWAY JUVENILE π¨
Travion Johnson, 14, was last seen leaving his home at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 11, 2025. When contacted by phone, Travion said he was on his way home but has not returned.
He was last known to be in the area of Walmart on Salem Road. Travion is about 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 120 pounds. He has small to medium dreadlocks and was last seen wearing black clothing, including a black hoodie. His shoes are unknown.

UPDATE 10/10/25 4:55 PM: Emory Street has reopened.

There is an emergency road closure of Emory Street from Hwy. 278 to Stone Mountain Street starting Friday, October 10, 2025 at 11:15 a.m. Due to construction in the area, there was an issue with the sidewalk, and for safety purposes, the road has been closed until further notice. Please share with your friends and neighbors who travel this route. City Hall (2194 Emory Street NW) is open and accessible. π§

On Monday, the Covington City Council voted to initiate a new ordinance subsection that would confine allowable visiting hours to between dawn and dusk. Additionally, the ordinance would prohibit for-profit, commercial use of the city cemeteries (with exceptions for services provided by mortuaries and the like).
