The Rule of Law: Stability or Illusion?
In 2020, Adam Bodnar diagnosed Poland’s justice system with surgical precision. As Commissioner for Human Rights (2015–2021), he named the pathologies: institutional schizophrenia, systemic impunity, collective destabilization, and a judiciary
disconnected from the people and mistrusted across Europe and beyond.
Since December 2023, Bodnar holds the most powerful legal position in Poland: Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General.
