FBF as WE (all who support democracy) start our work week this morning, on the first day of the Derek Chauvin trial. Y'all remember him right the former police officer who disgustingly last May on nationwide media took George Floyd from this earth. I feel compelled to ask the following questions:

1.) Will he get convicted ?

I'm praying he does for there's NO RATIONALE to explain his deplorable actions. I have NO respect nor sympathy for him. My heart / support goes out to Gianna, Floyd's daughter (age 7 @ the time of this tragedy) & family.

I thoroughly believe Minnesota AG Keith Ellison will hold him accountable fully.

2.) Are VOTERS of GOP led states going to sit idly by while these voter suppression laws are passed in 43 states & counting ?

Let's be REAL folks these laws are Jim Crow 2.0. pure & simple. Republicans who support them know exactly what they are doing & how these laws will impact Blacks, Hispanics, & Asians disproportionately.

I would argue that same way Chauvin kneeled on George Floyd's neck is the same way the GOP is blatantly kneeling on minority voters. As a child my parents told me when a person shows you who they are BELIEVE them.

I DON'T believe every Republican is racist but it's quite apparent there're many who feel threatened with losing power so they are choosing to make it MORE difficult for OUR voices to be heard. I propose WE remember ALL of them at the ballot & vote out each one who doesn't reflect OUR views.

Lastly my prayer is that WE will continue to take a stand & hold them accountable !!!
