Advanced Reformer Training Week.

Weekend 9 out of 10 in this year’s teacher training program — which is wild to say out loud. It feels like we just started.

These weekends are intense, challenging, and incredibly rewarding. The advanced work has a way of reminding you how much there always is to learn.

One thing I know for sure:
time will pass anyway.

This time next year you can either be further along in your Pilates journey…

Do Reformer straps and handles matter?

I still remember using a reformer with leather straps and wooden handles for the first time. The connection I felt in my back, especially in my scoliosis lean, was like nothing I had felt on any other reformer before. Pretty soon after that session I put my Stott reformer up for sale on marketplace and started making a plan to get a classical reformer.

The best teachers are shaped in person, over time.

was never created to rush people through a certification or chase profit. The goal has always been depth—graduating teachers who are confident, well-trained, and don’t need a second certification to feel prepared.

This training runs like an apprenticeship over 12–18 months, with full studio access for practice hours, classes at the studio, 10 private sessions, and discounts on additional services and workshops.

This work isn’t meant to be rushed—and neither are the teachers who carry it forward.

If you are thinking of making your own Large Pilates equipment and you are not a skilled carpenter it’s not really worth it in my opinion. Just buy from the people who make equipment for a living or wait for a deal on marketplace.
