For a long time, buying something for myself felt like something that could wait.

And somewhere between the house and the kids, I got really good at putting myself last.

So this lil’ shopping trip may look like clothes, beauty products, and a new bag… but to me, it was a little reminder that I’m allowed to be on my own list too. 🤎

And just like that……the first week of Kindergarten is in the books, and our boy rocked it. He had the best week and smiled every single day.

I’m so proud of him. For who he is. His sweet spirit. His kindness. His love 🫶🏾

I vividly remember holding him in the NICU as if it were yesterday and now here we are.

We got through our new routine and new experiences, and this entire week was filled with so many “firsts” that I want to remember forever.

Here’s to the beginning of a new chapter. Kindergarten, be good to our boy! ❤️

Independence Day! Brayden said to me in the car, “Mom you don’t have to walk me to class. I can do it by myself.” And that he did.

The sweetest daddy/son moment…& this is when I started to cry. Whew. It’s been an emotional week! We made it through though! I’m so happy my big big enjoyed it!

Nahh fr, how did our parents and grandparents figure out what to feed us every day? Genuinely need to know!

And before yall ask, yes I use Pinterest & TikTok but somehow still get stuck making the same monotonous meals.

So help sista out & drop your easiest go-to meal pleaseeeee so I don’t have to think so hard. Thangggya 🫶🏾

Trying to figure out our new routine!

To make the mornings smoother, I made sure to have the clothes laid out and ironed me out and had the lunch packed. So glad Baby boy had a great first day of school 🙌🏾

What do you mean my son is starting Kindergarten tomorrow? 🥺

Brayden will be hit yet another milestone & I honestly can’t believe it.

I had to sit down and interview him, so I can document who he is in this very moment. His answers, his smile, his little personality are all so precious.

They tell you time goes by quickly, but time is truly a thief. Though I’m excited, my mama heart is going through all the emotions inside and idk if I’ll be okay tomorrow.

To the mamas watching their babies grow up too fast, I see you. We are all in this together!
