We’ve lived in three different places together so far. Each one held a chapter of our story. Our first apartment was small but full of laughter and late-night conversations. The second was a space that was a reminder that even when life felt transitional, our love was solid. And now, we’re in our house, the one that feels like the foundation of the family we’re building.

With every move came new lessons. We learned how to build Ikea furniture without losing our patience, even though some days that came with one of us leaving the tools and instructions out for the other person until they got tired of tripping over it lol. First we learned how to make a home in a space, not knowing this would be the start of endless love. And now we’re learning how to make a house into a home that will one day hold the sound of little feet. The walls may have changed, but the love inside has only grown stronger. Because at the end of the day, home was never about the address. It’s always been us.

There are some moments in life where you just know. Our first date was one of them. We didn’t need weeks or months of guessing games. There was no overthinking, no playing it cool, no wondering where this was going. From the very first conversation, there was comfort. There was safety. There was a spark that felt less like fireworks and more like a steady flame of something that would last.

Both of us had been through seasons of heartbreak, of letting go of engagements that weren’t meant for us. But instead of making us bitter, it made us better. It taught us patience. It taught us what we wanted and what we would no longer accept. So when we sat across from each other that night, it wasn’t luck, it was preparation meeting timing. It was divine. And it was the start of forever.

Thinking back on the first night of our wedding celebration! When we were planning our wedding, one thing we knew was that we didn’t want it to be about production(although everything was captured for us to look back on forever). We wanted it to be about presence. That’s why we chose a villa in Costa Rica, surrounded by family, friends, and the sound of waves instead of the noise of a resort. It wasn’t about perfection....it was about intimacy, laughter, and the kind of love that fills a room even when the décor fades and the mission was accomplished!

Standing there, smiles on our faces, with the people who mattered most circling us, we felt the weight of what marriage really meant. It wasn’t just a celebration, it was a promise. That villa became the backdrop of the greatest “I do” of our lives, and even now, every time we think about it, we’re reminded that love is extraordinary. Most memorable moment for us so far! Do you have a dream wedding in mind?

There’s something about seeing the world from above that makes you feel infinite. Every window seat, every sunrise over a new city, every cloud beneath your feet is a reminder of how vast and beautiful life can be. We have traveled to sooo many places already!

Traveling together has given us perspective of not just the world, but on our own journey. Every trip teaches patience, resilience, and joy. Just recently, we were in Italy at a Drake concert, standing in a crowd of people who didn’t even speak the same language as us, but all singing the same lyrics at the top of our lungs. Moments like that remind us that the world is both so big and so connected at the same time.

The best part? Sharing it with someone who makes the skies feel a little smaller and life feel a little bigger.

Don’t just see the world. Let it change your perspective. Let it expand your heart, your mind, and your gratitude for every moment you get to experience together.

Some of our best moments together aren’t on camera, aren’t perfectly curated, and aren’t staged. They’re when we’re just us. Singing badly in the car. Dancing in the kitchen like nobody’s watching. Making up inside jokes that no one else will ever understand.

And lately, it’s the random belly rubs in the middle of a conversation or while we’re laughing at something silly. Little reminders that even in our goofiest moments, we’re also preparing for something bigger than us.

Being fully ourselves with each other...silly, loud, goofy, and messy! It's shown us that love isn’t about perfection. It’s about comfort. It’s about laughter. It’s about knowing you can show up exactly as you are and still be chosen, still be loved, still be home.

Never underestimate the beauty of being yourself with someone who truly sees you. That’s where the joy is. That’s where the love grows.

Some of our favorite trips have been the ones where we had no plan at all. No maps, no strict itineraries. Just a suitcase, curiosity, and each other. Wandering through streets we’ve never seen, tasting foods we can’t pronounce, and getting lost only to stumble upon something magical around the corner.

Not gonna lie, lately we’ve been nervous but ready for this new traveling while pregnant phase. It feels different, but in the best way. It's like we’re not just exploring for ourselves anymore, but also for the little life we’re carrying with us.

Traveling like this has taught us that life doesn’t always have to be so structured. The best moments often happen when you let go of control and just explore the world together, discovering not only new places but also new sides of yourselves along the way.

Step off the beaten path. Let curiosity guide you. The most unforgettable adventures and self-discoveries often come when you wander without a map. What’s your favorite place you’ve traveled to?

We’ve traveled the world side by side, and each journey has stretched us in ways we never imagined. There’s something powerful about stepping into new cultures, hearing languages you don’t speak, tasting foods you can’t pronounce, and realizing how much bigger the world is than your day-to-day routine.

Every flight, every city, every passport stamp has been more than just a trip—it’s been an experience. We’ve learned patience when things didn’t go as planned. We’ve learned joy in the little moments, like laughing over street food or getting lost down cobblestone alleys. And most of all, we’ve learned perspective—that life isn’t meant to be lived in one place or one way.

Traveling together has taught us that the world doesn’t just expand when you explore it… you expand too. And when you have someone to share those moments with, every experience becomes richer, deeper, and more meaningful.

Here’s to more stamps, more lessons, and more adventures that shape not just where we go—but who we’re becoming. ✈️✨

At 36 and 37, we don’t take a single moment for granted. Every chapter of our story—the highs, the lows, the pauses, and the restarts....has equipped us to live life in totality. Today, we’re living in gratitude. Gratitude for each other. Gratitude for the family we’re building. Gratitude for the people who believe in us, support us, and cheer for us along the way.

We know that life doesn’t always follow the timeline you imagine, but there’s beauty in operating on your own timing. And right now? We’re right where we’re supposed to be.

Take a moment today to pause and write down three things you’re grateful for—no matter how small. Gratitude has a way of shifting your entire perspective.

Gratitude transforms the ordinary into extraordinary. It makes you realize that what you already have is enough—and that’s where joy truly lives.

When we create content together, it’s never just for the likes, views, or numbers. It’s about something bigger. It’s about showing that healthy Black love is real, attainable, and worth protecting. It’s about reminding couples that love is not just found, it’s built—day by day, choice by choice.

We’re not perfect, and we don’t try to be. But what we are is committed to loving each other properly, to growing together, and to leaving behind a legacy of love that matters.

And we appreciate every single one of you who has supported us, shared our videos, and sent us words of encouragement. We want to keep going not just for the love of what we do, but because your support reminds us how much it matters.

Real love can’t just be talked about—it has to be lived. And when you live it, it has the power to inspire more than just the two of you.

One of the things we cherish most about our relationship is how much we laugh together. From the very beginning, there’s been this spark of joy between us—a spark that carried over into our marriage, our content, and now, this new chapter of becoming parents.

Life isn’t without its challenges. Work gets heavy, responsibilities pile up, and now with a baby on the way, the weight of preparing for the future can feel overwhelming at times. But somehow, laughter has always been our reset button. Whether it’s Jamal cracking a joke in the middle of a serious moment, or Chantelle’s contagious laugh filling up the house, joy always finds its way back in.

And that’s what makes this love so powerful—not that everything is always perfect, but that no matter what, we can still find joy in the little things, still laugh together like it’s day one.

If there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s this: laughter doesn’t just lighten the load, it strengthens the bond. Love is choosing someone who makes even the hardest days feel a little lighter, a little brighter.

In our late 30s, we’ve both lived full lives. We’ve worked hard, loved deeply, made mistakes, and started over. At first, we were individually on separate journeys—each with its own ups and downs. But then, we met and fell into what felt like the most divine timing, our paths aligned.

Some people might have looked at us and thought we’d “missed our chance.” But the truth is, we were right on time. All the experiences that came before prepared us for this kind of love—the kind that feels grounded, safe, and true.

Now, here we are: newly married, living together, content creators, and parents to be. Every milestone feels sweeter because of the wait. Every moment feels richer because we know what it took to get here.

Love doesn’t come with a deadline. It doesn’t follow the world’s timeline. It comes when you’re ready, when the lessons are learned, and when your heart is open. Don’t ever give up on your story—because the right chapter might just begin when you least expect it.

Marriage is beautiful, but let’s be honest—it’s also work. And not the kind of work that drains you, but the kind that shapes you, stretches you, and ultimately makes you better.

Since saying “I do,” we’ve been building something with intention. We're living in our first home together—a foundation for our family. We’ve spent late nights creating, laughing, and dreaming side by side as content creators. And now, with Chantelle carrying our first child, we’re preparing for the biggest and most rewarding project of all: parenthood.

It's never been perfect though. There have been moments of uncertainty, compromise, and growing pains. But what keeps us thriving isn’t perfection—it’s commitment. It’s the daily choice to love, support, and show up for each other in the small things and the big ones.

A lasting love isn’t built in one day. It’s built in the everyday choices, the shared dreams, the teamwork, and the resilience. When two people commit to building with intention, love doesn’t just last—it thrives.
