Compromise is divine, right? Not all the time 💔 If you're prone to people-pleasing, this Holy Grail of relationship harmony can be weaponized for maximum manipulation, a coercion to “let go” of repeated hurts that a partner knows is creating harm over time 🥀 When we ignore small hurts + don’t speak up, we also contribute to the toxicity (but someone’s lack of self-awareness can only be an excuse for so long, too)

Tho most of us have autonomy, s*x*st programming re: speaking up, not making a “big deal”, etc is a burdensome barrier in the long run 🧱 When our needs are so far from being met along with the erosion of trust due to lack of consideration, a relationship suffers & can meet a sudden end ☠️

The Libra New Moon on 10/21 contains all these elements of alarming emotional excavation, taking stock of relational dynamics while also taking responsibility for one’s part in self-advocacy ⏳ As we move into the darker, colder months, & as the goofingtons say “cuffing season”, it’s high time to recognize deep imbalances we are best to no longer stand to carry into this Eclipse-free chapter ❄️💖❄️

Since the Supreme Court overturned Roe vs Wade in 2022, living in the Bible Belt working for a gender-affirming healthcare company in 2023 has been heart-breaking & maddening to say the least 💔 Tracking the bill proposals & often unfortunate passings that affect reproductive rights which range from access to safe abortion to Rx for HRT in the Southeastern States is overwhelming 👀 There seems to be no separation of Church and Hate

Not only is healthcare a human rights, bodily autonomy is a freedom every single person in the world deserves to have & one I believe governments have a responsibility to uphold 🌟 Grateful to have watched The Devil is Busy on a short that shows the trials wombies face accessing medical procedures that can in some case save their lives along with the manner in which the Far Right re-appropriates "concerns" to troll & threaten healthcare workers 🎥

A menstrual Muse for the + gratitude for in allowing me to observe the layered calendar complexity in living with 👀 esp for the primordial rage that shows up 10-14 days before my period 👹 EEEK! For YEARS my symptoms seemed REMOVED from PMS as they felt too far away from my bleed 😭 Until I had a therapist who asked me to track my periods AND emo-vom fits, it all became clear 💃

My teen & early adult PMDD aka Carrie Era with a side of Ginger Snaps werewolfies was horrifically extreme 💢 The literal & metaphorical menstroscities, abject body-horror of external shame & lack of support 💔 along with gate-kept info about bodies & sometimes outright denial that PMDD is even A THING ⚔️ kept me in the dark about what seemed like mental breaks of paranoia, overanalysis, anxiety & deep depression 🖤BUT NOW I KNOW BETTER & KNOWING IS HALF THE BATTLE 💪

To make menstrual matters even more heightened, my bleed started with the Full Moon for 2 decades 🩸🌝🩸 And in retrospect I see the many benefits to being a 💃 Full Moon bleeding holds a key to deep intuition, empathy, empowerment but it is also a great responsibility 💓 I absolutely adore the incorporation of moon cycles, menstrual folklore & research tid-bits the app offers 🙏 and now keep tabs on the proximity of my period as it relates to symptoms & cravings & emo-overflow in every part of my cycle 🌀🗓️📌
