It’s Rainbow Baby Day & I Have TWO 🌈 🌈 .

What is a rainbow baby? It’s a term for a child born after a previous pregnancy loss, such as miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death. The term for some symbolizes hope and the light after the “storm” of loss.

My girls really came into my life in a season where I was told I wouldn’t have kids on my own. My son Isaiah was born still at 34 weeks in 2009. I had unexplained infertility for 9 years before I finally had Lauryn. Aleah showed up two years later as my golden rainbow baby (child born after a rainbow baby). My kids know they are rainbow babies and embrace it now that they’re older and understand. I look at them daily and I’m reminded of how far I’ve come. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
