Message from our leaders:
If you want to do community service on the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we invite you to join us at Jennie Drake Park.
We will work on these tasks: removal of invasive plants, cleaning and filling bird feeders, and picking up litter that is in the park and also on the roadway.
Please NOTE:
- Children and youth (those still in elementary and middle school) must be accompanied and supervised by their parents or guardians.
- Elementary, middle, and high school students are to submit permission forms signed by their parents or guardians. The 2022 permission form for parents/guardians to sign and submit. Email [email protected] to request the parent consent form.
- Everyone is to bring his/her own reusable water bottle; we will provide water and snacks.
- Everyone is asked to wear a mask and to bring work gloves. We will have a few extra masks and work gloves in case someone forgets.
- Everyone should dress for protection from extremes in the weather and from stings and scratches. Cover arms and legs and wear shoes that protect the feet.
