The rich neighborhood of Saint Denis is so beautiful! ||| When I don't feel like doing missions, I just stroll around Saint Denis with Arthur. I just realized that this largest city in Red Dead Redemption 2 has such distinct social strata: the area right at the entrance is the rich neighborhood, with beautiful houses, exquisite backyards, and clean, paved streets. The gentlemen and ladies walking around are mostly well-dressed white people. Further in, you'll see a "poor neighborhood," where even the streets are dirt roads. Crowded apartment buildings—I wonder how many people are crammed into each room. People of all races, dressed in coarse cloth, mingle on the streets. Red Dead Redemption 2 is so realistic! I finally got the Strawberry Sand Arden horse!!

It took me over four hours, watching multiple tutorials on Bilibili, and I finally got it! The Strawberry Sand Arden horse looks so pretty, so pink!

I got it on a bridge. The tutorial I watched was posted by an account that has since been deleted. The video content said, "(Latest Strawberry Sand Arden Horse Acquisition Method! Live Stream Recording.)" He posted it on April 8, 2025. Those interested can search for the tutorial and try it out.

The story of Arthur: Cousin's Redemption is getting better as it progresses past the halfway point.

When I first started playing, I was simply awestruck by its scenery—the sunset over the plains, snow-capped mountains reflected in the lake, the wind blowing across the grasslands so clear you could see the veins on a horse's neck. But back then, I also felt it was "too slow"—too much dialogue, too long storylines, and I was even a little impatient.

But slowly, I began to be moved by this world and its people.

I started trying to be a truly "good person" in the game—helping strangers, sparing enemies, paying off debts, apologizing…it was like helping Arthur, and also helping myself complete a path of redemption.

Several scenes brought tears to my eyes—the sadness wasn't sentimental, but the slow, heavy weight of fate. Arthur knew the ending was predetermined, yet he still wanted to do something right.

I roughly knew the ending before playing the game, and at this stage, I'm a little hesitant to continue the main quest; I just want to collect cigarette cards and go hunting.

This Western world feels like an extension of reality, and Arthur... is more than just a character; he's like an old friend—real, vibrant, and kind.

No wonder some people say the game only truly begins after completing Red Dead Redemption 2. ||| After finishing deep-sea fishing, I got a bit addicted to fishing and belatedly downloaded Red Dead Redemption 2 again. Back then, the slow and boring storyline drove me crazy, but now I'm playing it like a hunting, fishing, and sightseeing simulator.

I'm still reeling from Red Dead Redemption 2!

It took me over 180 hours to complete Red Dead Redemption 2. I didn't specifically pursue achievements, and I didn't enjoy hunting or fishing. I was purely a story-driven player; I've probably completed most of the main, side, and stranger quests. (Except for those requiring map clearing and collection, which I genuinely dislike.)

The final chapter was a bittersweet experience—frustrating, heartwarming, and heartbreaking all at once. Using John to "massacre the village" was the only way to alleviate the frustration of not being able to riddle Micah and Dutch with bullets. The heartwarming part was finally seeing John with his own warm little family, something Arthur never had, and his brother felt it for him. But after researching the first game's story, I learned that John's family only enjoyed a short, happy life... I'm planning to quit the first game now; I simply can't accept the tragedy.

This game features a bunch of rough, violent, and vulgar men, but they're all incredibly innocent boys. John even tells a beautiful woman, "I love my wife," while taking a shower. Arthur blushes and his heart races during his date with Mary (supposedly the controller shakes). They even try to persuade prostitutes in bars to stop. I'm truly impressed, hahaha.
